We have finished our study of the various immigrant groups who
have moved to the United States. We have also studied where different groups of people have settled. We also learned about groups of people who traveled west and the motivating factors for migration. Now we are reading historical fiction books to help us better understand the time period.
In honor of National Poetry Month the students in 4C have been reading and writing poetry. We hope you enjoy their selections of original poetry as well as recitations of their favorite poems by various poets.
